Exercise In People With Health Conditions
It is highly important and regularly prescribed by healthcare professionals. Research has shown exercise to lift mood, reduce stress levels, boosts energy and even enhance the quality of sleep.
Exercise does not have to be a vigorous physical activity. Household chores counts as physical activity well. This includes and not limited to gardening, mopping, cleaning the carpets. If you are new to physical activities I will recommend you take baby steps. Start small and build up on the level of physical activity. Do not run a marathon on day one.
It is very important to have a tailored exercise plan.
- Start by making a list of activities you enjoy.
- Fix a suitable time everyday; 10 minutes slots to undergo your preferred activities.
- Do not put pressure on yourself to get it right the first time.
- An exercise plan might not always go according, try and be flexible and adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
