Researchers from Imperial College London shocking discovery. UK Online Pharmacies operating from Cyprus and India.
The UK and European Legislation states, an Online Pharmacy must be registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). And the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
However during a cross-sectional study on obtaining antibiotics online from within the UK, this was not the case reported.

Out of the 20 Online pharmacies analysed, only 5 online pharmacies had evidence of registration with GPhC and MHRA.
Three online pharmacies operated from India, Two from Cyprus and the other Ten unclear.
Due to this finding, concerns are raised of UK vendors licensing. Therefore impacting the effectiveness of Britain’s medical purchases online.
